No Reserves, Tough Game, Another Win 4-1
The rain held out this morning, yet it was still very cold!
Luke started in Goals and had to work hard. The opposition was tough! We have borrowed Harry from the 7E's and we had no reserves. It was 0-0 draw for some time, and then Anthony got a run, stealing the ball and scored an excellent goal. Prouille struck back and it was 1-1. We were playing up hill and it was tough. All the boys where playing well, Hudson was really focusing on passing - and the boys where even sending the ball back down the field to try and get around. Anthony scored another 2 goals in the first half making it 3-1.
In the second half Matthew went into goals and did an excellent job - letting nothing past. Bailey scored a great goal, and the half was full of good offensive and defensive play.
Man of the match went to Hudson who showed a great improvement with his passing and team work.
Thanks to Harry for a good game too. We missed Michael and Alen today.
Thanks to Marty for reffing in the second half. I've got the shirts this week.
We won't have Bailey next week (long weekend), so I'll have to find some more players for next week - or we will be one down.
