Second Trial Game Win - 11-0

Congratuations to the boys on another win!

Luke went into goals in the first half, and didn't get a touch at all. Anthony was quick to get 2 goals straight away- both excellent shots from far out. The opposing team were not moving very well and our boys could move around them very easily.

I tried to get them to pass the ball around more, and it was very encouraging when they did. Alen got a good goal, Bailey was also doing a great job up front. Michael was being a great defender/half and Hudson was storming around the field and feeding the balls through. Matthew too was very active in the game and very quick to get to the ball and kick it on.

By half time it was 4-0. Bailey went into goals, and the second half saw more passing. Anthony, Luke and Alen had a couple of nice passes. Again Anthony and Alen scored again and again - 7 in this half.

I saw an improvement in all players and can see where more work is needed. Our first competitive team will really be the test. It's also time to go over positions and keep trying to get the boys to space out a bit more.

Man of the Match this week went to Anthony for great goals and good listening and passing. Well done Anthony!

We still don't know about the time of next Saturdays game. As soon as I know I'll let you all know. It could be as late as Friday - but I hope not. This roster comes from KDSA not our club.
You can also check from our club's website : http://www.hhsc.org.au

Also - for those who may not know - Alen is away for 5 weeks (19th May till 24th June), so we won't have a reserve (unless I can source one).

Thanks to Martin for ref'ing the first half. Thanks for Hudson's mum for doing oranges, Matthew's mum for doing shirts, and Bailey's parents for taking on shirts and oranges for next Saturday.

Please tell your son that their coach is very proud of them.

regards,
Mark
HHSC 7B Coach
